Kelly is the first to admit she is living the sweet life. Owner of Toute Sweet Ice Cream and Chocolate, Kelly puts the fun factor and the yum factor into her chocolate boutique. Her great sense of humor will have you giggling in no time, but Kelly is serious when it comes to her chocolates. “Everything is handmade. We offer single origin and fair trade chocolate,” says Kelly. Which makes it all the more sweet. A luxurious selection of Belgian chocolates here and homemade ice cream there, oh, how sweet it is!
Located in the heart of historic Jordan Village, Toute Sweet uses the Niagara region as its playground to combine fresh seasonal fruits and fine wines from the local orchards into their chocolates and truffles. The wine infused chocolates are a match made in heaven and don’t get me started about the ice cream. “I have people who wouldn’t think twice about driving here from the GTA just for the ice cream.” Kelly gets a wide range of chocoholics- from the tourists to locals; she is roping them all in with her chocolaty ways. And who could stay away? Kelly has dipped into a winning combination, working with local wineries from the Twenty Valley area to produce her unique wine infused truffles. She has coined her velvety goodies, ‘Truffles of the Twenty’. Some of her borderline sinful chocolate and wine creations have been infused with Flat Rock Gravity Pinot Noir, Featherstone Red Tail Merlot, Cave Spring Cellars Brut sparkling wine and ice wine, Wayne Gretzky Estates Shiraz/Cabernet just to name a few. Choco-locate highly recommends the Flat Rock Winery Pinot Noir Truffle and the Cave Springs Winery Ice Wine Truffle. Dark chocolate coating and a silky smooth ganache- delish!
