    chocolate

The French have built an intense relationship with food and this is a culture that knows its Le Chocolat inside and out! For many chocolate is a basic food group and not to be messed with. Yet, the French still manage to be petite individuals, so they must be doing something right! From hand-crafted chocolate drinks (chocolatte) to delicate bon bons, truffles and pralines, there is something for the chocolate lover in everyone. Be sure not to rush and stroll on by the delicate window displays for chocolate art not found elsewhere in the world. It’s no surprise Choco-locate HAD TO add Paris to it’s listing. Bon Appetit!

Whether you’re a plane Jane, traditionalist or single origin connoisseur there is something for you to sink your teeth into! A chocoholic’s resource for everything chocolate, all the time.

New to Choco-locate Media for Paris- we want to hear from you!

Choco-locate's Producer, Lalita Krishna and Rob Woodbridge of UNTETHER.tv got together via skype to dish out the wireless world, transmedia and everything digital! Check out the full video conference here

Here is just a sample of what they chatted about from UNTETHER.tv website:

How a transmedia producer used mobile to create an audience for her documentary – with Choco-Locate creator Lalita Krishna By Rob Woodbridge

Mobile, combined with location, unlocks considerable value, we all know that. The thing that always surprises me is the sheer number of niche opportunities that this combination can bring to light. The obvious and most talked about area of impact has been the retail industry as a whole. The conversation usually slopes to the power of the consumer and the downward price spiral that location, mobile and complete pricing openness brings. The plight of the Big box retailers like Best Buy come to mind almost immediately.

'Film tells the not-so-sweet side of chocolate'

What do you think of when you think of chocolate? Decadence? Dieting? An industry rife with exploitation and labour abuses?

Toronto director Michael Allcock offers a peek at the various sides of chocolate in the new documentary Semisweet: Life In Chocolate, airing on TVO on June 6. The film tells four stories – of Ron Obadia and Nadine Artemis, two raw food enthusiasts; of employees who live and work in Hershey, Pa., known as “The Sweetest Place on Earth” and more.
