A Customized Chocolate Lover’s NYC Romp with Alexandra Leaf
Love chocolate? Then this walking tour is for you. Come celebrate “the food of the gods” (so named by the 18th century Swedish botanist Linneus) with culinary historian/chocolate expert Alexandra Leaf. From hot chocolate to cooling gelato, and with toothsome macarons, and Belgian-style confections on the day’s menu, together we will seek out New York City’s finest hand-made treats. Begin the day with a Chocolate 101 class complete with cocoa beans from a plantation in Colombia and spend a sweet 2 1/2 hours exploring the world of fine chocolate. Our tour features visits (with tastings!) to five shops in the SOHO area.
