Three friends came together to create Ambiance Chocolat and, believe it or not, they all met while working at a former chocolate shop. We will leave this enterprise nameless. They all bring a different expertise to the table, and when amidst the ambiance of their customers’ laughter it seems safe to say they’re a perfect fit.
Patrick is the main chocolate maker, the ‘taste bud’, and the most whimsical of the three. His original recipes come to him almost in his dreams or as he is waking up. Beata is in charge of the baked goods, artistic creation of the displays, and is the friendly face to greet customers as they enter the store. Last but not least is Stany. She is wears the business hat in the operation. And all your questions can be answered on the spot by an expert. Now how is that for ambiance?
Located in Queen east, these chocolatiers were drawn to the potential and diversity of the area. Beata liked the fact the area was just starting to “wake up” and smell the chocolate- per say. And they have been growing with the area ever since. Beata states proudly, “there is some gentrification already going on and the area hasn’t lost its grit yet.”
